The 21st Annual Commerce City Rotary Foundation Golf Tournament will again provide scholarship opportunities to deserving Adams 14 high school students.

Suncor Energy is the major partner of this year’s scholarship golf tournament.  Suncor’s operation in Commerce City is Colorado’s only refinery and is proud to be a major supplier of refined fuels to the citizens of Colorado, as well as a supplier of jet fuel to the Denver International Airport, and a large producer of the asphalt used for paving roads in our state.

Suncor states, “Suncor’s partnership with events, such as the Rotary golf tournament, demonstrates our commitment to being engaged with the communities where we have operations.  We are pleased that Suncor’s support will also help to provide educational opportunities, including scholarships, for deserving youth in the Adams 14 School District, who want to go forward, succeed and make a lasting difference in their own communities.”

On Friday August 9, this long-running golf tournament will begin with a 7:30 AM shot-gun start at the Buffalo Run Golf Course.  Rotary is pleased to announce that the tournament is “sold out” with foursomes playing to benefit the students of Adams School District 14 students and it appreciates the sound support that each business puts forth annually towards the scholarship fundraising tournament.
